Winnebago Industries Inc. will be welcoming Winnebago Itasca Travelers Club (WIT) members to its Forest City, Iowa campus July 21-26 for the 44th Annual WIT Grand National Rally (GNR).  According to a press release, the event, held at Winnebago’s Rally Grounds, will have a Wild West theme this year.

“We’re ready to saddle up and get rolling,” said WIT General Manager Doug Formanek.  “We’re in the process of getting ready for our WIT members to roll into Forest City to get reacquainted with old friends and meet some new ones as well.”

Rally attendees will participate in a number of activities, including tours of Winnebago’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and informative seminars. Evening entertainment throughout the week include comedian Jan McInnis, country band The Black Diamonds, rock ‘n roll vocal group Jay and the Americans and country music legend John Michael Montgomery.

Select vendors also participate in the GNR through displays and informative seminars throughout the week.  In addition, new 2014 Winnebago, Itasca, Winnebago Touring Coach motorhomes and Winnebago and SunnyBrook towables will also be on display, including brand new models such as the Winnebago Forza and Itasca Solei Class A Diesels. Rally participants will also be able to take a test drive with some of the new 2014 units.

Membership in the WIT Club, currently comprised of more than 12,000 members, is open to anyone who owns a Winnebago motorhome or towable product. WIT Club members are eligible for special member benefits and can also participate in local, state, regional and special interest clubs, and travel on a variety of WIT Club managed special events called caravans and rallies.
