The Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA) announced that Brown & Brown Recreational Insurance is a Bronze Level Partner for the 2013 RV Dealers International Convention/Expo, Sept. 30-Oct. 4, at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
According to a press release, the convention is sponsored by RVDA, RVDA of Canada and the RV Learning Center.
The firms formerly known as Reed Brothers, RV America and Gilbert RV are all now known as Brown & Brown Recreational Insurance. The company also recently acquired F&I Consulting.
“We feel very positive about the future of the RV business,” said Mike Neal, executive vice president of Brown & Brown of Kentucky. “We feel like there is a lot of growth potential and look forward to continuing to work with our dealer partners.”
RVDA Convention/Expo Committee Chairman John McCluskey of Florida Outdoors RV in Stuart, Fla., noted, “Generous partners like Brown & Brown Recreational Insurance make affordable education possible for our industry. Our industry is stronger and better because of the commitment of our corporate partners and we are grateful for their support of the Convention/Expo.”
To encourage dealers to bring more staff to the convention, the registration rate has been kept low, with discounts for additional staff and more opportunities to learn, through Vendor Training +plus.
RVDA also continues to offer helpful registration payment plans, including an easy pay plan of three payments and the ability to lock in early rates for additional employees with one paid convention registration.
Themed “Education: Your Competitive Advantage,” the convention program has been enriched to reflect the importance of training and education for all dealership staff. There will be extended training through Vendor Training +plus on Monday and Tuesday of the convention, followed by track workshops for Dealer/GMs and managers in sales, service, parts, and finance and insurance.
The 2013 convention will also feature an exhibit hall filled with the RV industry’s top companies offering products and services to help dealers improve profitability. RVDA’s Partners in Progress Brand Committees will also meet to work on important dealer-manufacturer issues.
