Coach-Net Launching ‘Hazard Protect’ Product

Irving, Texas-based Coach-Net, a provider of 24/7 RV technical and emergency roadside assistance, launched its new Hazard Protect product today (July 15). According to a press release, Hazard Protect is one of a series of new products being introduced this year as part of Coach-Net’s Protect Suite.

The new Hazard Protect product offers a comprehensive tire and wheel hazard protection that covers all types of new and used recreational vehicles from common road hazards such as metal, nails, screws, potholes, glass and debris, with terms available from one to seven years.

Hazard Protect allows RV owners to protect their unit by offering coverage with no deductible. The program will cover repair and, if issues are not repairable, also replacing tires damaged by road hazards along with mounting, valve stems, balancing, sales tax and customary labor charges.

Lopez added, “Our industry expertise provides RV owners the ability to travel in complete confidence, while ensuring participating dealers that they have a dedicated RV-industry partner to supplement their finance and insurance department’s offerings.”

Other products in Coach-Net’s Protect Suite, to date, include:

• Roadside Protect: The cornerstone of the Protect Suite, providing 24/7 RV technical and roadside assistance and other benefits through Coach-Net’s premier membership plans that provide all-inclusive coverage for RVs and other personal vehicles owned, rented, borrowed or leased.

• RV Protect: An extended service contract available for both towable and motorhome owners that protects members from unexpected repair costs.

• Asset Protect: A gap waiver option for customers, which closes the financial gap in coverage when total-loss insurance payouts are less than the outstanding loan balance.

The company expects to roll out additional products in its new Protect Suite over the coming months. It is currently enrolling RV dealers nationwide who wish to participate in the Protect Suite program, enhancing their finance and insurance office’s offerings for RV buyers.
