Lance Camper Manufacturing Corp. announced that its website, www.LanceCamper.com, along with a comprehensive social media program have produced double-digit growth throughout 2013.
According to Mark Hovanec, director of marketing for the Lancaster, Calif.-based builder, “It’s a coordinated effort. A quality site with good SEO and engaging content attract and retain a potential customer for a longer period of time.”
Hovanec reported that typical viewers stay on the site twice as long as last year, page views have quadrupled, and the bounce rate is well below acceptable internet standards.
“None of this would mean anything unless the efforts generated new business,” he said. “The number of e-mails, brochure downloads and requests for quotes has increased in order with the other site statistics.”
In addition to the website growth, Lance has committed to Facebook as the primary channel for social media. Additional presence is also on several other channels for relevance and SEO. The growth on Facebook fans has been dramatic. Growth in part is due to a focused ad campaign within the channel. This has contributed to close to a half million impressions per month.
