Grand Design's Momentum toy hauler

Grand Design RV will use the upcoming Elkhart County RV Open House Week in northern Indiana to introduce its Momentum toy hauler fifth-wheel to the market. The luxury toy hauler offers several “industry first” features, according to General Manager Marc Hauser.

“We really focused on delivering a luxurious, functional toy hauler built on a platform that has not been done before by any of our competitors,” said Hauser in a press release. “Our team truly feels like we accomplished this, and have produced a product that our dealers will have a huge advantage in the marketplace.

“Like all of our Grand Design products, we were tasked to engineer the Momentum to exceed industry standards, and we definitely set the bar high on this toy hauler.”

Some of the highlights of the product are:

* Heavy-duty “drop-frame” chassis.

* Oversized 8,000-pound axles.

* “H” rated 16-ply tires with 17.5-inch aluminum wheels.

* Walk-in front closet.

* Residential bathroom amenities including one-piece fiberglass maxi-shower.

* Entertainment Center with 46-inch LED television.

* Garage entertainment center with theater system and 65-can beverage refrigerator.

“Momentum’s wide-body design and unique chassis create an incredible platform for creative layouts and innovative features moving forward with the product, and we look forward to unveiling both of our current floorplans at the Elkhart Open House,” continued Hauser.

Don Clark, president and co-owner of Middlebury, Ind.-based Grand Design RV, added, “Our Grand Design team has been very busy. We are simultaneously launching two new products at the same time and the timing (for Open House Week) couldn’t be better. We plan to unveil two new brands that attack significant market segments for our dealers at one easy to find convenient location.”

Grand Design RV is sharing display space at Open House week with Tiffin Motorhomes Inc. in the RV/MH Hall of Fame complex in Elkhart.
