Thor Motor Coach has expanded its “Shield of Protection” customer service program to include “single source,” consolidated warranty facilitation service, which went into effect Aug. 1.
According to a press release, dealers and retail owners will no longer need to contact individual component part manufacturers to receive pre-authorization for warranty repairs on Thor Motor Coach branded motorhomes. The company will now facilitate the warranty claims on behalf of the dealer and retail owners, allowing a single source of contact to work with the motorhome’s component part manufacturers.
“We are continually monitoring our dealers and consumers to find out what they really desire,” said Nicole Short, director of customer service. “A consolidated, single source warranty program is what dealers and retail owners want. It is in Thor Motor Coach’s best interest to facilitate this warranty authorization with our valued industry partners.”
