Portland Fall RV Show Marking 30th Anniversary
The Portland Fall RV & Van Show will mark its 30th anniversary this year, set to run Sept. 12-15 at the Expo Center.
According to a press release, the show will feature dozens of dealers showing the latest lines from high-profile manufacturers. There will also be preowned RVs and a selection of tow vehicles, along with destination experts and travel resources.
In addition several Oregon companies will be displaying product, including:
* Heather Gardella and Shane Madbery brought the Dub Box to the U.S. after purchasing the North American rights from a U.K. company. It offers the look of a VW Van and is built with fiberglass, sound dampening insulation and a host of interior amenities.
* The American Dream Trailer is based on the discontinued Trailerboat. The trailer is a combination of a teardrop style trailer with an attached boat and is priced under $10,000. These trailers are lightweight — even a smart car sized vehicle can tow one — as they only weight 650 pounds.
* Cascadia Vehicle Tents are rooftop tents that can be custom designed to fit any car or SUV. The standard roof top racks on most cars, and the tents only weigh a few hundred pounds, are easy to haul and quick to set up.
