In a development indicative of a rapidly changing recreational vehicle retailing arena, Guaranty RV Super Centers is currently working through the final phase of an expansion project – the Guaranty RV Travel Center – designed to create more of a destination element at the well known Junction City, Ore., store. “They are just putting the finishing touches on this epic project,” Shannon Nill, general manager of Guaranty RV Super Centers, told on Friday (Oct. 11) in forwarding some photos of his store’s latest development that includes a convenient collection of goods and services specifically for the RV traveler. The travel center has more than 5,000 parts on hand, representing almost $1 million in inventory. In addition, Guaranty has access to more than 50,000 parts from the online store. Also available onsite: RV lifestyle clothing and accessories, a 3,000-square-foot convenience store, RV rental service, propane sales, free overnight parking and RV service — along with a laundry facility and, for RVers traveling with their pets, a dog groomer. And there’s apparently more new twists in the works at Guaranty, which carries the Newmar, Winnebago, Northwood, Jayco and R-Vision lines and operates a full-service RV facility, according to Marketing Director Becky Smith.
