Today’s video comes from FOX 2, St. Louis, offering an interview with longtime RV dealer Morris “Butch” Thomas recounting when he and his sister, Nancy, attended the final game of the 1946 World Series when the St. Louis Cardinals downed the Boston Red Sox. Both were less than 1 year old. Due to a picture in the Globe Democrat and a previous news story on FOX 2, Thomas and his sister will be attending tonight’s game in Boston, as the Cardinals try to come back from a 3-2 deficit. Thomas, now retired, was presented with the Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association’s (RVDA) James B. Summer Award, the association’s top honor, in 2012.
