The crew meets with Dean Rumpel, president and CEO of the family run company, and learns about Pleasure-Way’s history and product lines. During the visit, ROTV also gets out into the factory and sees exactly what goes into building Pleasure-Way RVs. The video is great. Good presentation of the Pleasure-Way line. With that being said, I would like to encourage ROTV to take time to visit Advanced-RV in Willoughby, OH.

Advanced-RV makes a class B coach built using the Mercedes Sprinter 3500 series van. I cannot begin to tell you how unique and elegant the “Ocean One” Advanced-RV coach truly is.

I first heard of Advanced-RV and Mike Neundorfer, the owner, in the spring of this year while working on a presentation with Namon Nassef, the inventor of “THEZLD”, (a black & gray waste elimination system) to Mike. As the conversations and discussions moved forward, I became interested in what Mike was doing that seemed so very special and different as compared to the other class B manufacturers.

Mike isn’t just interested in building a class B coach within confined specifications with a specified list of accessories and then presenting it to potential buyers. Mike wants and encourages buyers to come to him with their ideas, desires and suggestions on how “they” want their unit built. Then they will build their coach together.

In May, I had the opportunity by invitation to come to his operation in Willoughby, Ohio to see not only how the Advanced-RV’s were being built but to also meet his staff and see the desire and energy each and every one of his employees put into their part of the construction of an Advanced-RV coach. It was truly an experience to watch as each member of this team completed their part of the coach treating it as though this one was going to be theirs when it was finished.

Then I was given the offer to drive one of the Advanced-RV demos to the class B rally that was being held in Kinchloe, Michigan May 16 through May 19. What a unique experience! I can only tell you to take some time and contact Mike Neundorfer in Willoughby when you get a chance. Go and see his operation. The Advanced-RV is simply in a class itself within the group of class B manufacturers.

The Advanced-RV web site is and I would again encourage ROTV and any potential buyers to go to this site. I am certain if you are a serious candidate for a class B, either looking to downsize from a class A or a High-Line, or just now wanting to own a motorhome for the first time and want quality plus reliability, the Advanced-RV will be your choice.
