N.H.-based multilocation dealer Campers Inn announced the promotion of Ben Hirsch to the position of COO.
According to a press release, Hirsch grew up in the business working at the original Campers Inn location in Acton, Mass. He went to college at West Point, and then was an Army officer serving as a helicopter pilot, speechwriter and multinational commander.
He decided to rejoin the Campers Inn team and took on the role of director of fixed operations where he has worked on many projects including best practices manuals, employee training and the standardization of company operations. In addition, Hirsch has led numerous other projects that were outside of his fixed operations role, and he is currently pursuing his MBA from Wharton Business School.
“As our company has grown, I have learned that my attention and focus must be on the company’s culture, vision, relationships and strategy,” said Campers Inn President Jeff Hirsch. “However, these responsibilities have taken a great deal of time and I have had to delegate more of the operational responsibilities. I am confident that Ben will ensure that our operations continue to improve, and all employees will experience the quality support from corporate that they deserve.”
Ben Hirsch added, “I am honored to have been selected for this great position. I look forward to working with Campers Inn and the industry, and I will do my best to help carry on Campers Inn’s legacy as the campers trusted resource.”
