La Mesa RV Center, one of the nation’s largest multilocation RV dealerships, is marking the grand opening of its newest sales and service center in Port Saint Lucie, Fla.

According to a press release, the 117,000-square-foot facility located at 8650 NW LTC Parkway is possibly the largest indoor air conditioned RV facility of its kind in the state of Florida. When combined with outdoor display, the site covers over 20 acres.

The dealership features a wide variety of top brand new motorhomes and towables, including Coachmen, Evergreen RV, Fleetwood, Forest River, Monaco, Thor Motor Coach, Heartland, Itasca by Winnebago, Winnebago towables and Cruiser RV. In addition, a large selection of certified pre-owned RVs from Fleetwood, Winnebago, Monaco and Tiffin is being stocked.

“Our massive Port Saint Lucie facility is another strategic portion of our expansion plans within the state of Florida,” said Jim Walters, president of La Mesa RV. “With easy access to I-95, this location will be a key stopping point for RVers as they travel up and down the east coast of Florida. With our massive indoor selection, we are creating a new level of shopping and service experience for RVers within the state.”

With the opening of the Port Saint Lucie facility, La Mesa RV Center has closed its store in West Palm Beach. However, the company still counts 12 sales locations across the country. Port Saint Lucie is one of four locations for La Mesa RV in Florida, including Sanford, Fort Myers and Sarasota sales and service centers.

The company was founded in 1972 in La Mesa, Calif., a suburb of San Diego. Since then the company has grown significantly with headquarters in San Diego as well as stores in Davis, California; Tucson, Mesa, Phoenix, Yuma and Quartzsite, Ariz.; and Albuquerque, N.M.
