Lance Garners DSI Awards for Trailers, Campers
Lance Camper Manufacturing Corp. announced that it is the recipient of two separate Dealer Satisfaction Index (DSI) Awards for 2013.
According to a press release, the Lancaster, Calif.-based company was honored with the prestigious award for both its truck camper and travel trailer lines. Lance will be presented with the award on Dec. 2 during the RVDA Dealer Reception at the Crowne Plaza Hotel the evening before the opening of the National RV Trade Show in Louisville, Ky.
Jack Cole, president of Lance Camper noted, “We’ve been committed to quality for almost a half a century and this honor not only confirms all of our efforts, but further motivates us to achieve new levels of excellence.
“Lance Camper is known for quality and leading-edge designs and production techniques. With extensive customer feedback and interaction with dealers, products evolve based from ‘on-the-ground’ input. The result is products that address customer needs and demands, and dealers’ concerns for quality.”
Gary Conley, national sales manager for Lance, added, “We are constantly striving to achieve new levels of quality. The input we receive is key in developing products that are timeless. In fact, while we are penetrating new markets and first time buyers, Lance still benefits from word-of-mouth referral. The company is also proud that we have customers that have owned numerous Lance RVs.”
The DSI survey report data is comprised of the input from dealers from a series of questions related to sales support, territory, design, reliability/quality, competitive price/value, parts support, warranty support and overall dealer communications. Conley reported that in the question concerning “How likely would you be to recommend this brand to another dealer friend to handle at their dealership?” Lance scored 72.2% versus an industry average of 32.1%.
“Lance is a true leader in every respect,” said Conley. “The numbers show Lance preference at our dealers, which means happy customers and a great referral base. We expect to see this trend continue well into the future.”
