Nappanee, Ind.-based Newmar Corp., with a gift of $25,000 last month, has donated $185,000 toward its pledge of $260,000 to the Mike Molino RV Learning Center. According to a press release, Newmar’s pledge amount and sustained giving keeps the manufacturer’s name at the top of the Major Donors category of giving on the current contributor list.

The Learning Center’s annual fundraising campaign was launched at the RV Dealers International Convention/Expo last month. The annual campaign allows investment in new technology to keep learning affordable, flexible and relevant for dealers and their staffs.

Newmar President Matt L. Miller said, “Newmar has invested a lot of time and money elevating our sales and service training and support. It makes a lot of sense to partner with the Mike Molino RV Learning Center because they share the same philosophy we do; to provide quality education for our dealers.”

“It’s a point of pride for me, as part of the RV industry, to witness the way manufacturers, suppliers and dealers all come together to rally around the need to fund high quality education to keep it affordable,” said RV Learning Center Chairman of the Board Jeff Pastore of Hartville RV Center in Hartville, Ohio. “Newmar has been a stalwart donor, leading the list of pledges and making sustained giving to the RV Learning Center an obvious priority. I applaud their vision and commitment.”

The RV Learning Center is dedicated to providing dealers and their employees with innovative ways to operate RV dealerships through an array of education resources including publications, distance learning, live workshops, online products, training, and certification programs for RV dealership personnel.

Convenient online donations as well as a printable form that accommodates customized pledges and donations have simplified giving.
