Elkhart, Ind.-based Atwood Mobile Products announcef that its line of helium refrigerators has been awarded a 2013 Trailer Life Readers’ Choice Award.

“We are very pleased to be presented with a 2013 Trailer Life Readers’ Choice Award,” said Fay Flournoy, marketing manager for Atwood, in a press release. “What makes this extra special is that it is voted on by the people who use these products day in and day out. This is yet another example illustrating Atwood’s a trusted provider offering outstanding quality and value to the RV refrigeration market and will be for many years to come.”

Conducted online at TrailerLife.com, the Readers’ Choice Awards allowed thousands of readers to vote for their most-desirable RV-related products.

According to information on Trailerlife.com, “To tap into that vast body of knowledge, we launched the Trailer Life Readers’ Choice Awards to learn more about our readers and what they value, as well as finding out what vehicles, destinations and products make life on the road easier and more enjoyable.”

Atwood line of helium refrigerators utilizes a helium-based cooling system engineered to “minimize excessive heat while providing superior durability and performance,” the company said. Features include a modern design with LED cabinet lighting, blue tinted door shelves and a standard door ajar alarm.

An integrated tilt sensor provides a visual cue for the consumer to ensure maximum performance of the refrigerator. The Atwood helium refrigerators are available in two popular sizes – an 8 cu. ft. class and a 7 cu. ft. class (which fits in a 6 cu. ft. cutout) with left or right swing door, and an available fan for slideout installations.
