John and Nancy Szabo made their way to Cleveland’s IX-Center after a week of frigid weather to set their sights on a cozy way to camp during their newly-earned retirement for 2014, according to a report by WEWS TV.

Marking its 38th year, the Ohio RV SuperShow offered over 600 RVs in the expansive IX-Center, but the Szabos had firm ideas on an upgrade after decades of working their way up the RV chain. The show opened Wednesday (Jan. 8) and runs through Sunday.

“We’re here to look at the Class A’s primarily. We’ve had the pop-up trailers, we’ve been tent camping, we’ve had the class C motor home, and we’re just looking now that we’ve retired for something that’s going to be bigger. Just get out there and enjoy the outdoors, and get around to all of the United States,” said Nancy Szabo.

John Szabo was very particular about letting RV salesmen know that the outside of his soon-to-be acquired RV was as important as the inside luxury.

“I definitely want an outside kitchen,” he said. “I don’t see ourselves sitting in the camper, in the motorhome, watching TV constantly. We want to be sitting outside grilling, enjoying ourselves outside sitting around, whether reading, talking, by the campfire, whatever.”
