Last year’s numbers at the Valley RV & Camping Show were the best in five years. And Matt Rose, director of recreational vehicles for the Indiana Manufactured Housing Association/Recreation Vehicle Indiana Council Inc. (IMHA/RVIC), believes this year’s 40th annual show could be even better.
The South Bend Tribune reported that a year ago, the three-day show at the Century Center attracted nearly 4,000 people. Rose expects to top that this year. He also expects to top the about 30 RVs that were sold there a year ago.
“Every single unit here is for sale,” Rose said. “It’s a great opportunity for somebody here to get a great deal. And they are built right here in our backyard (Elkhart County), so as far as pricing goes, there’s no better place to get a great deal on a new RV.”
RVs were already being moved into the Century Center Monday (Jan. 13). The show gets under way at 10 a.m. Friday and Saturday, running until 8 p.m. each day. It ends Sunday with a noon to 5 p.m. run. Admission is $6, with children 15 and younger free.
