Thetford Corp. and Norcold were selected as winners of three gold and three silver awards in the 2013 Motorhome and Trailer Life Reader’s Choice Awards.
“We’re thrilled to be the reader’s choice,” said Andy Bialorucki, Thetford’s director of marketing, in a press release. “This vote of confidence from RV enthusiasts gives dealers additional confidence when selling Thetford and Norcold products.”
Thetford won a Gold Award for its line of RV toilets from both Motorhome and Trailer Life readers. Thetford’s toilets are stylish while maintaining the reliability and ruggedness that helps RVers spend their time enjoying the lifestyle, the company said.
Bialorucki said he also believed that Thetford’s full line of toilets and 50-year track record influenced the reader voting. “We have an option available for every consumer,” he said.
Norcold advanced from a Silver Award last year to a Gold Award in the RV refrigerator category in Motorhome.
“Readers responded to the design of our Norcold refrigerators, which are colder, bigger and lighter than the competition. These design features keep food colder and fresher while storing more groceries and weighing less,” Bialorucki said. “Norcold helps RVers save fuel, make fewer trips to the store and enjoy their RV more.”
Thetford also was honored in the RV cleaner category from Motorhome and Trailer Life magazines. Thetford offers a full line of RV cleaning products, including products with a DfE (Designed for the Environment) certification.
“Together, these awards reflect Thetford’s and Norcold’s positions as experts in the RV industry. Our products continue to be what consumers want to buy,” Bialorucki said.
