Camco Mfg. Acquiring Ind.-Based Hydro Life Inc.

Screen Shot 2014-04-08 at 11.42.18 AMNorth Carolina-based Camco Manufacturing announced the acquisition of Hydro Life Inc., a Bristol, Ind.-based manufacturer of premium water filtration products.

“We are extremely excited to add the Hydro Life brand to the Camco family,” said Keith Cook, Camco’s vice president of sales, in a press release. “Hydro Life has always had a great reputation among dealers and consumers alike and we plan on doing our best to continue what they started.”

After its founding in 1988, Hydro Life expanded into the RV marketplace, serving both the aftermarket and OEM segments. The company also supplies filtration products to vending and food service operations.

In business since 1968, Camco Manufacturing is a major supplier of recreation vehicle and marine accessories, specialty automotive fluids and residential hardware products. The company current has operations in Elkhart; Portland, Ore.; Leominster, Mass., and Beilun, China.

    i believe this buyout will help make things sweeyer at camco. i have purchased many of the camco products in the last year for myself and my daughter an suninlaw. we have been very pleased with all our purchases. and i am sure the new acqusition will make things even better and a bigger product line. thanks for all the help on line answering questions an putting t
