EverGreen’s Bay Hill Offers Unique Floorplans
EverGreen Recreational Vehicles LLC continues to engineer “innovative” floorplans in its 2014 Bay Hill fifth-wheel lineup, including the 340RK.
The Middlebury, Ind.-based company reported in a press release that the 340RK features a spacious gourmet rear kitchen with etched glass pantry and a designer range hood, along with stairs that lead up to the private bedroom. With some models boasting up to five slideouts, the 340RK offers open areas for a residential feel.
The entire Bay Hill series is built with an all-aluminum wall structure including added aluminum framing around all windows, doors and baggage openings for lightweight strength and durability. Walls are built using EverGreen’s vacuum laminated construction processes that involves coating dense block foam insulation with urethane adhesive, which is then subjected to high heat and pressure, essentially fusing the aluminum frame to the interior and exterior layers.
The exterior construction includes a crowned, walk-on rubber roof, fiberglass or cream gel-coated exteriors with matching fiberglass painted front caps. Modern, stylized graphics and large, tinted, automotive style frameless windows complete the coach’s clean exterior look. An electric awning is standard. Exterior baggage doors offer expansive storage space and are equipped with slam-latches commonly found on motorhomes.
Bay Hill’s living spaces are well lit thanks to the LED lighting package, and the entire coach is accented inside with crowned ceiling molding. The living room is set off by a big-screen LED TV in the living room, comfortable residential-style furniture and standard remote controlled fireplace with heater.
With a kitchen built for entertaining and preparing large meals, Bay Hill is equipped with Corian countertops and a stainless steel sink with gooseneck faucet. Matching stainless appliances include an optional, large double door refrigerator/freezer, built-in 30-inch microwave over the three-burner range with oven and power exhaust hood —all standard.
Bedrooms are outfitted standard with an 80-inch queen-sized bed with a Denver pillow-top mattress, bullet reading lights above the bed, a TV jack and LCD TV bracket, night stands with power outlets for charging devices or alarm clocks, and finished with spa-inspired etched glass wardrobe doors. Bathrooms have large walk-in showers with a glass shower door, a skylight over the shower or tub for added natural lighting, a convenient hand sprayer in the tub and powerful exhaust fan.
