Lichstinn Unveils New Forest City Dealership
Carolyn and Lawrence Lystig sat in comfortable chairs in Forest City, Iowa, last Thursday morning. Carolyn Lystig had an electronic device plugged into a wall outlet and she sat reading a book. Lawrence Lystig was drinking coffee and looking through a window at a motor home inside an enclosed bay.
As reported by the Forest City Summit, the Lystigs are long-time Winnebago motorhome owners and were getting a feel for the new recreational vehicle facility at Lichtsinn RV in Forest City.
“It’s beautiful,” Lawrence Lystig said of the facility. “It has lots of room. The access is pretty good too.”
The new facility was designed with people such as the Lystigs, of Peach City, Ga., in mind, said Heidi Thompson, Lichtsinn’s chief financial officer.
“(It’s designed) to provide a seamless, smooth, comfortable experience for our guests,” Thompson said.
Guests include those buying a recreational vehicle for the first time, those who are getting a routine check on their vehicle and others who need a little more work done on the recreational vehicle.
The facility is at the intersection of U.S. Highway 69 and Iowa Highway 9 across the street from Lichtsinn Motors. The facility is about 20,000 square feet and includes four service bays, two bays for detailing work, a full-service drive-in bay and a bay called a photo booth used for Lichtsinn marketing and similar work. The facility also has a 7,000-square-foot showroom.
