Coach-Net Supports National Tire Safety Week
Coach-Net is reminding RV owners to follow tire safety best practices during the week of June 1–7, designated as National Tire Safety Week.
According to a press release, Coach-Net is supporting this awareness-raising initiative by sharing basic tire maintenance information and tire safety tips with RVers across the country, including Coach-Net members. The educational campaign will include a week of media outreach, as well as a series of informative social media alerts. “We are now in the peak season for camping and RV road trips, which is why we would like to remind RV owners about the importance of tire safety and maintenance,” said Dan Lopez, vice president of Coach-Net sales. “Coach-Net focuses on providing RVers with peace of mind and sharing information about safe RVing, so we encourage everyone to review the best practices we’ve compiled and to make tire safety a regular part of your RV maintenance routine. Along with making sure your RV is properly weight balanced and that your load does not exceed the limit for your unit, being able to spot weary tires and work tread is essential to help you avoid the inconvenience and expense of tire trouble when you’re on the road.”
Coach-Net’s Hazard Protect product, part of the company’s Protect Suite and available through RV dealers nationwide, provides comprehensive tire and wheel hazard protection. With terms available from one to seven years, Hazard Protect covers all types of new and used recreational vehicles from common road hazards such as metal, nails, screws, potholes, glass and debris.
