Construction Underway on Motorcoach Resort
The Devcon Group, LLC of Jacksonville, Fla., announced that its wholly owned development company, Ameri Motorcoach Resorts Inc., broke ground this week on its flagship development, The Fountains Premier Motorcoach Resort of St. Augustine. The company said in a written announcement that the resort should open in the spring of 2015.
“We are very excited to be moving forward with the groundbreaking and construction of The Fountains,” said Curt Geisler, CEO of Ameri Motorcoach Resorts. “As we progress, we will be working diligently to keep luxury motorcoach owners informed regarding the development of our beautiful one-of-a-kind resort. The Fountains is truly an amazing resort, and we are excited to watch the transformation begin. The resort’s optimal location, rich history and year-round, mild, subtropical climate near the heart of St. Augustine provide owners and guests with one of the most desired destinations in North America.”
The Fountains is the first of many “world-class” resorts the developer intends to build around the country. This resort aims to set the highest of standards and expectations for all future resorts developed by Ameri Motorcoach Resorts, Inc.
The Fountains is located within close proximity to white sand beaches, celebrated golf courses, world-class entertainment and the charm of the “Nation’s Oldest City.” The vast variety of things to do, due to the location of the resort, accessibility to other travel destinations, and easy access to Interstate 95, makes the resort a prime location.
With the location and five-star amenities including a spacious clubhouse, fitness center and spa, sports courts, fountains, fireplaces and fire pits, and personal sites with casitas, cabanas, or villas, the Fountains of St. Augustine is set to be a key luxury motorcoach resort. Other features of the resort will include a village retail center, restaurants, putting green and even entertainment areas for owners and guests. For those who enjoy the water, the resort will encompass a four-acre lake with paddle boats or canoes available for use, catch and release fishing, and a pier.
