Towable manufacturer CrossRoads RV announced the introduction of the 278RR toy hauler trailer to its Z-1 floorplan lineup.

The Topeka, Ind.-based builder reported in a press release that the new 278RR offers the flexibility of a traditional toy hauler at an aggressive price point. With a 4,985-pound unloaded vehicle weight, it can be towed by a host of mid-sized tow vehicles. CrossRoads said the 278RR is slated to begin production in late June.

“We had many requests from dealers and retail customers alike during the early show season wanting an economically priced, fully-enclosed toy hauler,” said Crossroads General Manager Darin Elswick. “Our operations team did a fantastic job of making those requests a reality.”

The two sofas in the rear can be rolled over in order to make extra sleeping arrangements. When they are not in use they can be folded flat against the wall in order to maximize storage space. The wide-open floorplan ensures that customers will have plenty of room for all their toys, which can be secured by six D-ring tie-downs.

Other highlights of the new 278RR include:

• A walk-around queen bed that provides the customer with access to each side of the bed for ease of getting in and out and making the bed.

• A full floor-to-ceiling pantry provides an abundance of storage. Also included are two shirt closets and a large amount of overhead cabinet space.

• A large 69-inch-by-74-inch ramp door allows for easy loading of quads, motorbikes and a variety of popular toys.
