Authored by Editor Bruce Hampson, the cover story traces toy haulers from their inception as a West Coast phenomenon to the proliferation of units in today’s marketplace. At the core of the explosion is the vehicle’s versatility coupled with the manufacturers’ ability to expand the demographic through innovative design.
“I think versatility is a big part of it, but it’s also the level of appointments in a toy hauler today versus just a few years back,” Keystone RV Co. President Matt Zimmerman stated in the story. “It’s a much softer piece and isn’t as edgy in terms of interior appointments. It appeals to a much wider demographic today.”
