Firms Team Up To Fill Go USA Camping Void
On the heels of a termination of services announcement by Go USA Camping, two industry partners announced a willingness to help parks who received 30-day notices.
TXAD Internet (a division of Texas Advertising Co.) and Campground Manager (a division of Mission Management Information Systems) issued a joint written announcement of their willingness to assist former Go USA Camping customers with either website or online reservation services.
“We never like to see a competitor going out of business, particularly as many parks are entering their camping season. We will offer any assistance possible with either front office systems or online reservations and special arrangements through this busy time,” said Peter Kearns, vice president of Mission Management.
Brian Scaheffer, president of TXAD Internet, said, “Parks may be in need of web hosting/maintenance during this time of transition and we are more than happy to assist with expedited services.”
Despite the Go Camping USA notice that blamed a ‘bad economy’ as the primary reason for exiting the industry, both Kearns and Schaeffer said their companies are doing well and growing exponentially. “We have seen steady growth in our number of parks served and their reservations, especially going into this year,” said Kearns. That sentiment was echoed by Schaeffer, who said, “We are experiencing unprecedented growth and feel very blessed to be in a position to help others.”
Both executives encouraged parks affected to contact them personally for assistance. For more information about TXAD Internet and Mission Management, visit their websites at txadinternet.com and missionmgmt.com or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com.
