RVDA and Learning Center Launch New Sites
The Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA), the Mike Molino RV Learning Center, and the RV Dealers International Convention/Expo have launched enhanced websites designed to better serve members and consumers. More user-friendly than before, the new platform offers members more personalized engagement, online purchasing and easy links to popular products and services, plus important news and updates.
According to a press release, the three sites offer greater functionality for members and steer users to the most relevant content, whether they are members, prospective members, or consumers. An online welcome greets current members along with quick links to important information. New members are guided to resources and members-only content that will empower them to become active in RVDA. Prospective members are directed to recruitment materials, member benefits, and to information about the various types of membership available.
The RVDA site directs consumer traffic to the popular “Find a Dealer” feature to locate RVDA members for sales, service and rentals. The Learning Center website has easy links to all programs, products and services, and an online store. In addition, RVDA has added a site exclusively for the RV Dealers International Convention/Expo, giving dealers the opportunity to register, get regular updates, and download materials from one convenient site.
“While the main purpose of the site is to serve RVDA dealer and associate members, the site also serves consumers through the association’s dealer locator, which lists members by city, state, or mileage radius from a zip code,” said RVDA President Phil Ingrassia. “The locator lists all RVDA member dealers, RV Rental Association and aftermarket members, along with any industry certifications held by employees at the location.”
Visitors to the sites will notice a streamlined design and an improved home page that is personalized for users who create an account. The personalized home page will show members’ recent activities, such as purchases, events attended, membership dues renewal dates, donations, and more. In addition, member communities will be developed, allowing users to participate in online discussions and networking in areas of interest or expertise.
The site’s online commerce capability has also been upgraded. The new online store feature makes most items in the 2014 RV Learning Center Catalog available for purchase and enables online dues payments and convention registration. The next steps will include a feature allowing online donations to the RV Learning Center and to RVDA’s Advocacy Fund.
