                                                                                                                                               Year-over-year Canadian motorhome sales declined 13.1% in April and 6.6% for the first four months, according to the latest report from Statistical Surveys Inc.

Forest River Inc. was the Canadian motorhome sales leader year-to-date, capturing a 3o.1% market share, followed by Thor Industries Inc. (24.2%) and Winnebago Industries Inc. (14.9%).

April Class A registrations dropped 5.9% while year-to-date sales showed no change from a year ago. Forest River was No. 1 through April with a 25.2% market share, ahead of Thor (18.9%) and Winnebago (16.9%).

In the Class C segment, April sales fell 17.7% from a year ago and 12.4% for the four months. Forest River led the category with a 34.9% share followed by Thor (29.5%) and Jayco Inc. (18.1%).
