Wash. RV Resort Hosting Tiffin, Poulsbo Rally
Tiffin motorhomes from all areas of the country started descending on the Toutle River RV Resort in Castle Rock, Wash., June 14 for the national rally presented by the Tiffin Allegro Club and Poulsbo RV, according to a written announcement from the resort. The rally, which has been sold out for several weeks, rented all of the resort’s sites and more than 30,000 square feet of covered area.
Poulsbo RV and Tiffin Motorhome Inc. have 25 new coaches on display including the all new Allegro Bus. Bob Tiffin, founder of Tiffin Motorhomes, was on site to greet club members all week.
Meals and Entertainment take place in the park’s large covered pavilion with seminars and meetings in the clubhouse and covered picnic areas. Technicians from Tiffin and Poulsbo RV were on hand to make minor RV repairs throughout the rally. The rally is scheduled to wrap up Friday (June 20).
Castle Rock is considered the gateway to Mount Saint Helens, with the volcano visitor center just a few miles away and the crater less than an hour from the park. Other nearby attractions are the Astoria, Ore., the oldest city on the west coast, the Ape Caves and a zip line course on an Island in the shadow of Mount Saint Helens.
Toutle River owner Charlie Curry said, “We are extremely pleased to have The Tiffin Allegro Club and Poulsbo RV choose us for the rally and very impressed with the job that rally masters Mr. & Mrs. Kelly Moore did, it was first class all the way.”
