EverGreen Co.’s Hold ‘Willpower’ Fundraiser
EverGreen Recreational Vehicles LLC, along with sister companies Stealth Trailers and Starcraft Distribution and EverGreen’s Lifestyle Luxury RV division, kicked off a fundraiser for Will Mishler, a 15-year-old student at Northridge High School in Middlebury, Ind.
In September, 2012, Mishler suffered a football injury that resulted in a doctor’s visit. He was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a rare form of nerve cancer. Mishler’s dad, Jim, is a product engineer with Lifestyle.
According to a press release, team captains for the fundraiser include EverGreen and Lifestyle President and COO Mark Boessler; Stealth Trailers President Stu Keaton; and Derek Thews, general manager of Starcraft Distribution. The team captains will join up with volunteers to hold a raffle for a 6-foot-by-12-foot $5,100 Stealth Titan trailer and the sale of wristbands to help offset some of the costs of Mishler’s medical treatments. The drawing for the Stealth trailer will take place on Aug. 1.
As part of the fundraiser, Willpower T-shirts were distributed at the company’s annual picnic to officially kick off the Willpower Campaign on July 19.
“The importance of family cannot be understated,” said EverGreen Companies Founder and Chairman Kelly Rose. “We want to help all of our employees in every company as we feel strongly they are a major part of our family. Without the dedication and commitment of all our employees we wouldn’t be where we are today, so when tragedy befalls our family, we pull together to help in any way we can.”
Anyone interested in purchasing raffle tickets for the Stealth trailer at the cost of $5 each or five for $20, or those who would like to purchase wristbands at $1 each, should send their requests to:
