Northwood Owners Rally Attracts Over 80 Rigs
For 12 years running, the Northwood RV Owner’s Association (NROA) hosted its annual rally at Eagle’s Hot Lake RV Park in La Grande, Ore. – home of Northwood Manufacturing Inc. According to a press release, the event ran June 17-21.
Northwood again helped host the annual rally that brings together active RVers who own Northwood-brand RVs. The event continues to grow and this year brought together more than 80 coaches with over 160 participants from as far away as Florida and Canada.
Founders and organizers Adam and Donna Sherman reported that campers began arriving nearly a week before the kickoff and some even stayed for much of the week following the official close of the gathering. According to the Shermans, the event draws more registrations every year. Adam Sherman noted the strong influx of new membership, adding that over 30% of those attending this year’s rally were first-time attendees.
Northwood National Director of Sales Donald Cochran offered, “We are particularly excited to see an increasing diversity in our participants. Our newer brands are appealing to our traditional buyer as well as younger, contemporary families. It was wonderful to see so many children at this year’s rally.”
He said these rallies always offer great insights into what is important to Northwood customers. To facilitate that effort, every year Northwood sets up a display of new models to collect feedback from the RV users and buyers.
In his remarks during the rally, Northwood COO Ward King stated, “We are as committed to remaining accessible to you, our customers, as we are to maintaining the culture of quality Ron Nash instilled in us. Our ‘Quality First’ mandate speaks to our mission to provide unmatched quality, strength, and durability in all of our brands. We are equally committed to innovation and constantly upgrading all of our products as well.”
Per tradition, the rally culminated with a Northwood hosted barbecue luncheon and an “all win” raffle.
