RVDA Seeking Additional Board Candidates
The Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association’s (RVDA) nominating committee is still seeking candidates from Alaska, Arkansas, and Maine to serve on the RVDA board and represent the dealers in their states. Any member from one of those three states who is willing to step up and seek the nomination should contact Ronnie Hepp at email@example.com to volunteer, to recommend a volunteer, or just to learn more about the association’s board of delegates.
Being a member of the RVDA Board of Delegates isn’t just a title, it’s a responsibility, according to a written announcement from RVDA. Every year, the RVDA nominating committee reviews the list of state delegates whose terms are about to expire. They evaluate the willingness of the delegate to continue in that role. They evaluate the level of activity and participation that the delegate has displayed over the past two years. Then they either submit the incumbent as the nominee or interview and select another deserving dealer member volunteer to be voted on by the state delegates.
If you’re a regular dealer member in one of the following states, look for a ballot to arrive sometime this month and vote for the candidate that the committee nominated: Arizona, Connecticut, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Wyoming.
Several dealers also serve as at-large members on the board of delegates. These individuals are generally active participants in the association’s activities who also want to serve in the governance of the association.
