RVIA Announces Candidates for Board Seats
The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association’s (RVIA) Nominating Committee has selected 13 candidates who will be running for seven seats on its board during the association elections taking place in August.
According to a press release, four manufacturer seats are in contention this year. The seven candidates are Derald Bontrager, Jayco Inc.; Ned Collins, Columbia Northwest/A-Liner; Chad Reece, Winnebago Industries Inc.; Lyle Reed, Foretravel Motorcoach; Bryan Tillett, Peterson Industries; Joanne Trealoff, Eclipse RV; and John Walker, Outlaw Conversions.
There are two supplier seats open on the board with four candidates running for the positions. They are Craig Floyd, TRC; Jeff Rutherford, Airxcel; Dave Schutz, Dometic Corp.; and Tim Stephens, Atwood Mobile Products LLC.
Association members will also elect a park model RV manufacturer representative. The two candidates vying for that seat are Terry Decio, Skyline Corp., and Curt Yoder, Kropf Industries Inc.
The official representatives from RVIA member companies will elect candidates in each category to serve on the board for three-year terms beginning Oct. 1. The elections will take place electronically through August.
RVIA’s Nominating Committee is chaired by John Draheim of ARG and includes Bob Parish, GE Capital, and B.J. Thompson, BJ Thompson Associates.
