The Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association announced three new speakers for the 2014 RV Dealers International Convention/Expo Nov. 10-14 at Bally’s in Las Vegas.

Among the first-time presenters is fixed-ops consultant Don Tipton, who will discuss “What Service Measurables Really Mean” during a workshop on Thursday, Nov. 13. Tipton started working at a young age with his dad in the parts and service department of a local dealership. Over the years, he held management positions in small, single-point stores and large, multi-location companies. Now he has his own fixed-operations consulting firm.

Convention attendees will also meet for the first time Don Bielen, whose presentation “Beating the Odds–Crafting a Successful Lifetime Business Transition Strategy” will help dealers improve the odds that their family businesses and assets are retained for the next generation.

And first-time presenter Chad Carr of Rainmaker Consulting will show how dealership service departments can attain a 100% fixed absorption rate in his Nov. 12 workshop.

Keep watching for more  workshops and speaker announcements for the convention, slated for Nov. 10-14 at Bally’s on the Las Vegas Strip.
