FISH HOUSEDave Bane, president and owner of Tom Raper RVs, recently presented a check for $15,000 to the Fisher House at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base following a tour of the Dayton, Ohio facility. The Fisher House is one of 64 facilities that provide a free, safe, home-away-from-home for military patients and their families while they receive medical treatment at military and VA medical centers in the United States and Europe. The donation amount is the result of a pledge to donate $100 for every recreational vehicle sold at Tom Raper RVs three Midwest stores during a “Salute to Military Veterans” themed sale in late May. Shown in the photo are Tom Raper RVs executives (L-R, Ed Unger, Dave Bane and Doug Ashenfelter) delivering the check to Fisher Houses Executive Chris Stanley. “We are proud of the efforts of our sales associates, their managers and our loyal customers whom combined to make it possible for us to make this contribution to such a worthy cause.” Said Bane. “It’s a great way to show our appreciation to our many customers and employees who have served their country unselfishly in the name of freedom.” Stanley noted, “The Fisher House is very grateful to Tom Raper RVs for this significant contribution which is equal to one month’s operating expenses.Hundreds of military patients and their families will benefit from this generous gift.”
