Vendor Training +Plus Offering More Sessions
Vendor Training +Plus is back for the 2014 RV Dealers International Convention/Expo, offering extra days of education for fixed operations managers and lead staff. Already 13 of the industry’s top suppliers of goods and services have committed to provide targeted training that adds value to the convention experience and gives dealers a reason to bring more staff for training.
According to a press release, the convention/expo takes place Nov. 10-14 at Bally’s on the Las Vegas strip and the theme is “Passport to Excellence: Education & Training.” For the second year, the Convention Committee has chosen a program that reflects dealer interest in high-quality education for more members of their staff. Vendor Training +Plus topics are designed to help dealership management increase profitability through better knowledge of the latest products and services available today.
The Vendor Training +Plus sessions will take place on Monday, Nov. 10, from 2:45–5 p.m. and will continue through Tuesday from 8:15 a.m.to 1 p.m. Vendor Training +Plus is free for all full convention registrants, so dealers should plan to arrive early in the week to take full advantage of the convention/expo.
Registered dealers can bring additional staff to attend Vendor Training +Plus at the special low rate of $195 for Monday and Tuesday only. In addition to the training sessions, the two-day fee includes admission to the opening general session and the opening reception in the Expo, where participants can learn about the newest products and services available to dealers.

The convention will provide relevant learning opportunities for dealers and key members of their staff. Workshop tracks are in place for dealer/GMs, sales staff, parts and service managers, and rental operators. New this year is a track of education workshops geared toward social media and emarketing.
The 2014 convention will also feature an exhibit hall filled with the RV industry’s top companies offering products and services to help dealers improve profitability.
