WIT Rally Sees 1,000 Rigs; Theme Set for ’15
Winnebago Industries Inc. reported that the WIT Club’s 2014 Grand National Rally (GNR) was a great success with about 1,000 motorhomes on-site at the company’s rally grounds in Forest City, Iowa.
In keeping with the “Out of This World” theme, activities at the July 16-20 event included a visit from NASA’s Orion Project and the University of Iowa’s Mobile Museum.
GNR attendees also signed on for in-depth building tours of Winnebago’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, informative seminars, and a variety of entertainment.
Select vendors were also on hand with displays and over 100 different informative seminar sessions held throughout the rally. In addition, new 2015 Winnebago, Itasca, Winnebago Touring Coach motorhomes and Winnebago towables were on display allowing attendees to take units for a test drive.
Following the rally, Winnebago announced that next year’s WIT Club gathering will run July 21-25 and feature a “Down Under” theme.
Membership in the WIT Club is open to anyone who owns a Winnebago motorhome or towable product. There are currently more than 12,000 club members. WIT Club members are eligible for special member benefits and can also participate in local, state, regional and special interest clubs, and receive special discount pricing on Winnebago Outdoor Adventure events and caravans.
