Jayco Inc. announced that Mike Aplin has joined the company as senior director of product development for Jayco’s toy-hauler product offerings.

In making the announcement, Brad Whitehead, vice president of Jayco towable sales, said, “Mike is a perfect fit for Jayco. He’s an upstanding professional, he’s driven to win, and he’s widely recognized by dealers and his peers as an industry expert in the toy-hauler segment.”

Aplin has been in the RV industry for 17 years, and has extensive toy-hauler experience, according to Jayco’s written announcement. Aplin spent the last 7 1/2 years at Heartland, where he led their toy-hauler division in sales for seven consecutive years and also led the company in sales four years in a row.

“We’re serious about excelling in the toy-hauler business,” said Whitehead, “and toy haulers are a big piece of our growth strategy. Mike brings a wealth of experience to this position, and he’ll be working very hard to properly position our toy-hauler products and prepare our dealer partners for years of success.”

Aplin will lead Jayco’s toy-hauler product-development team, spearheading the development, execution, and rollout of all new product initiatives, as well as establishing, and executing marketing strategies for all Jayco toy-hauler brands. He will also be responsible for coaching and training Jayco dealers and regional sales managers to grow sales and market share for Jayco’s toy haulers. Aplin will report directly to Whitehead.

Couldn’t have found a better person to head the Toy Hauler division. It won’t take long before Jayco Toy Haulers are #1 in sales
