Ron Chesnut, inventor of the patented “Unified Brake System,” said in a written announcement the former manufacturer of the unified tow brake is no longer handling manufacturing or distribution of the patented system, and instead Chesnut upgraded the system and will market it through Smart Brake LLC.

“Smart Brake is the same patented Unified Brake system of the last 10 years upgraded with all-new components,” Chesnut wrote.

It will feature new pricing and installation speed is much faster, utilizing standard brake controllers.

Information is available at smartbrakellc.com.
