2014-Passport-logo-with-type-640x480“Effectively Leading and Managing as a Young Executive” will be presented by David Spader of Spader Business Management at the 2014 RV Dealers International Convention/Expo. According to a press release, the convention runs from Nov. 10–14 at Bally’s in Las Vegas and is the premier education and training event for North American RV dealers and their managers.

This special session for young RV executives is part of the dealer/GM track and will help attendees identify the most common mistakes young leaders make and explore the difference between leadership and management. Because young leaders face the most volatile, dynamic and rapidly changing marketplaces the industry has experienced, this education session is especially recommended for up-and-coming dealership leaders. It will take place Nov. 13, from 10:15 – 11:15 a.m.

Spader is a lead trainer and consultant for Spader Business Management in the areas of people, culture and strategic development and is a lead instructor for Spader’s new Leadership Development Program.

The convention will provide relevant learning opportunities for dealers and key members of their staff.

Workshops are in place for dealer/GMs, sales staff, parts and service managers, and rental operators. A new track on social media and e-marketing has been added to the program for 2014 and compliance workshops on Nov. 14 will be open to participants in all tracks to build awareness of current regulatory issues affecting dealerships.

The 2014 convention will also feature an exhibit hall filled with the RV industry’s top companies offering products and services to help dealers improve profitability.
