Lippert Components Inc. (LCI) announced that David Harbin has been promoted to product supply analyst, supporting multiple facilities and product lines.

For more than four years, Harbin’s work with LCI has centered on the operations at plant 203 in Double Springs, Ala. Within the last two years, he and the team helped take inventory from 6.43 to 13.18 turns per year, indicating “a superior understanding of product supply and demand as well as inventory control and planning,” according to a press release.

In his new role, Harbin will primarily focus on supply planning, inventory replenishment and procurement processes, supporting multiple LCI facilities, including plants 203, 209, 210, 214, 241, 74, and 75. “I want to thank Lippert for the opportunity placed before me. I am very excited to see what Lippert has in store for the future,” commented Harbin.

“David has an incredible work ethic and has continuously put others first to help ensure business goals are met. I’m pleased to congratulate David on this new step in his journey with LCI,” said Scott Meiner, LCI vice president of supply chain and purchasing.

Additionally, Harbin’s instrumental role in the deployment of demand and supply planning of LCI’s inventory led to being named purchasing agent of the year in September of 2016.
