Keystone’s Bullet Colt

Keystone RV Co. announced the launch of the Bullet Colt, a luxury lightweight travel trailer that can be towed by smaller cars, SUVs and trucks.

“We designed the Colt to satisfy the growing demand for easy-to-tow RVs that offer a full complement of features at a popular price,” said Product Manager Nick Sweazy. “Our goal was to create a product that both the first-time camper and experienced RVer would be comfortable towing, while delivering a level of comfort and extras seemingly impossible in a camper this size. This product provides our dealers with an additional offering in the Bullet-Premier line of ultralights.”

Weighing around 3,000-pounds and measuring 6 1/2-feet wide, the Colt exterior is set off by a clean metallic gray and blue exterior. At around 20-feet in length, the Colt can be towed by many vehicles, often without the use of mirror extenders.

Two Colt floorplans are currently available with more models to come later this summer. All feature a fully equipped kitchen with flush-mounted covered range, convection microwave, and gas/electric refrigerator. Other interior amenities include a shower with full surround, RV/marine toilet and vanity sink, a U-shaped dinette in the slideout that converts to a bed, queen size bed and a tinted window at the front of the coach. A 24-inch TV and roof-mounted A/C are also available on the Colt.

Outdoor speakers, Thule awning with optional QuickFit Tent Room, outdoor shower, rear hitch receiver for bicycle or sports rack, L.P. quick connect, solar-panel charging port, and power tongue jack round out the exterior highlights.

Sweazy noted, “In addition to first time RV buyers, this new RV will appeal to campers seeking adventure in out of the way places due to the Colt’s smaller, more maneuverable size.  Another group of potential owners are existing RVers who find Colt’s perfect simplicity a welcome change.”
