Construction is expected to begin next month on a large recreational vehicle storage complex in Greenfield, Ind. Inside INdiana Business reported that the $3.5 million Guardian RV Storage facility will cover nearly 130,000 square feet in the Hancock County city and create a small number of jobs.

The complex will constructed in three phases with the first phase expected to open in October. The company says Greenfield was chosen for the facility because its existing RV presence with Mount Comfort RV and the KOA Campground, as well as its proximity to Interstates 70 and 465.

“We are beyond excited to be able to add another service to the Greenfield area,” said Brad Rollings, operations manager for Guardian RV. “With the significant RV presence at the Mount Comfort exit with RV sales, service and camping, we are proud to add a facility that is highly needed and complements what is already there. It will not only benefit the RV owners and RV community, but will benefit the Greenfield community as well.”

Though the facility is not yet open, Guardian says it is currently taking reservations for storage spaces.
