Motorized sales were flat in April, up 0.9%, as Class C sales continued to offset declines in the Class A market, while the segment showed a 9.3% gain for the first four months.

According to the latest report by Statistical Surveys Inc. (SSI), Thor Industries Inc. was the motorized sales leader through April with a 42.9% market share, ahead of Forest River Inc. (24.3%) and Winnebago Industries Inc. (12.6%).

March Class A motorhome sales fell 9.9% from the previous year, while registrations dipped 2.6% for the four months. Thor led the category with a 34% market share followed by REV Recreation Group (15.1%), Forest River (14.3%),Tiffin Motorhomes Inc. (13.6%) and Winnebago (13.4%).

Class C sales gained 9.8% for the month and 20.8% through April. Thor led the category year-to-date with a 49.8% market share, followed by Forest River (32.1%) and Winnebago (12%).
