Two friendly competitors — Noble RV and Hilltop Camper and RV — each have been shopping for land to build local dealerships in Minnesota.

The Post-Bulletin reported that both companies closed on deals for land this week, with Hilltop paying $1.3 million for 12 acres and Noble paying $1.08 million for 10 acres.

The surprise is both Hilltop and Noble bought land next to each other in front of People’s Energy Cooperative, outside of Oronoco. People’s recently sold both parcels. The end result is that next year, there will be a massive new “RV Row” with hundreds of RVs and campers on display, along U.S. 52 between Oronoco and Rochester.
