Sobel University Enrollment up for Aug. Course

Enrollment in Sobel University’s August comprehensive sales course saw an increase of 330% over the previous year. This year’s current enrollment indicates another record year.

“What’s impressive to is not the quantity of students attending but the quality,” Randy Sobel, president of Sobel University, said in a press release. “Dealers are doing a better job hiring top-quality people to serve their customers. This combined with training is driving RV sales to new heights.”

The August three-day course is scheduled July 31-August 2, 2017.

“The August class provides the solution to salespeople not producing numbers congruent with the market growth. Dealers cannot afford to let ineffective salespeople continue burning ups and then wait to be frustrated with their performance this winter,” said Sobel. “The brutal truth is, you can either fire up your salespeople or wait till the off-season when they are starving and have to fire them. Dealers cannot afford to have their customers helped by untrained salespeople.”

The comprehensive sales course is a “boot camp” class for new and experienced salespeople and managers. Students can expect a challenging eight hours of classroom instruction with homework every night and exams every day. Students are also put into role playing situations which helps sharpen their skills. Dealers have reported a drastic increase in sales volume upon their staff’s successful completion of this class.
