The Ontario Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association (ORVDA) announced record attendance and retail unit sales at the Toronto Fall RV Show held Oct. 13-15 at the Toronto Congress Centre.

According to a press release, ORVDA industry events serve as a catalyst to bring together industry, media, dealers and RV and camping enthusiasts.

“We have been aggressive in our marketing initiatives which allowed us to connect with a larger, more diverse audience, welcoming over 10,000 RV and camping enthusiasts Friday through Sunday at the Toronto Congress Centre,” said Natalie Conway, ORVDA executive director. “RV show results throughout 2017 lead us to believe that more and more Canadians are participating in the RV lifestyle.”

“We are delighted to announce these figures are the highest in the fall shows history and represent a 21% increase in visitors and a 50% increase in retail product sales over 2016,” explained Conway. “All indicators point to continued growth as we approach 2018, which is very positive news for the RV industry and the ORVDA.”

Plans for the 2018, ORVDA show season are well underway, with shows operating in Toronto, Hamilton, Ottawa and Kitchener, Ontario.
