The Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA) reported that 28 exhibitor-led Vendor Training +Plus sessions are scheduled for the 2017 RV dealers International Convention/Expo presented by well-known companies within the RV industry.

According to a press release, Vendor Training +Plus is an educational program with practical, innovative ideas and solutions to “help gear up dealership personnel for success.” This program is specifically designed to help dealership management increase profitability and stay current with the latest products and services. The trainers are RV industry experts from companies that dealers trust and use. Full details about each session are on the convention website.

Vendor Training +Plus is free for all registered attendees.

The convention/expo will also feature two sold-out exhibit halls and 30 brand new exhibitors. A searchable list of all exhibitors is available on the convention website.

Wells Fargo CDF will host keynote speaker, Chris Helder, for a book signing at their booth in the expo following Helder’s opening general session presentation on Nov. 7. Doors to the expo will open at 4 p.m. and Helder will be in booth #202 to sign copies of his book, “The Ultimate Book of Influence.”

Attendees will also have the added benefit of exploring a brand-new Retail Tech and Idea Center, a model store that will showcase a variety of merchandising tools that improve how products are displayed and sold, imagined by NTP-STAG.

The expo opens with a reception from 4–7 p.m. on Nov. 7, and will span two halls filled with the leading manufacturers, suppliers and vendors serving the RV industry. At the entrance of the exhibit hall will be comedic celebrity artist Neal Portnoy, where attendees can have their caricature drawn, thanks to RV Daily Report.

The expo will be open again on Nov. 8 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Nov. 9 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Lunch will be served in the expo both days.

“Gear Up for Success” is the theme for 2017 and the RVDA Convention/Expo Committee is working to provide an array of workshops and networking events that will help dealers build on an expanding market and interest in RVs and RV travel.

Because there is little space remaining, companies interested in exhibiting should contact Julie Newhouse as soon as possible. She can be reached at (703) 364-5518 or For more information download the exhibiting prospectus at
