ADEC will be holding a raffle for a 2018 Airstream Bambi Sport RV to raise funds and celebrate its 65 years as a nonprofit serving and supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Indiana’s Elkhart and St. Joseph counties
The trailer was donated by Thor Industries Inc. and Airstream Inc. Additional sponsors include Industrial Finishes and Systems Inc. and the Vomela Companies which helped design and apply the custom graphics to the 16-foot Bambi Sport worth $46,300.
“The raffle began on Oct. 26 at our annual meeting,” said Joe Kuharic, communications specialist for the organization. “Interest has been very good so far. We sold at least 15 tickets at that meeting. Potentially, the raffle could raise as much as $195,200 for ADEC if we sold all the tickets. We are very excited about this, and grateful to Thor, Airstream and all our sponsors.”
Tickets are $100 apiece with no limit on the number of tickets an individual can purchase. Only 1,952 tickets (the year ADEC was founded) will be sold with the official drawing being held on April 13, 2018, at 1 p.m. (EST). Tickets will be sold until April 12 at noon. Winners will be contacted via phone or through the mail following prize drawing. The contact information provided with the ticket purchase will be utilized to contact winners. Winners can collect their prize as early as April 21 and no later than 4 p.m. on June 15.
