Coachmen RV, a division of Forest River Inc., is now offering the Xantrex FREEDOM e-GEN-Li3 Lithium Ion Power System as an option on its Galleria Class B motorhomes.

According to a press release, the Xantrex system will enable Galleria owners to power the coach without the need of a generator or having to be tied into shore power.

“The new system offers our customers a smart, safe and affordable lithium ion power system that isn’t found in the Class B industry today. We had our first true retail introduction at the Pomona Show and the FREEDOM e-GEN-Li3 option was a game changer for us,” said Nick Recchio, general manager of the Galleria and Cross Fit division for Coachmen.

Steve Carlson, OEM sales manager for Xantrex, noted that the system improves run times while also featuring fast recharge times, safe battery chemistry and smart battery management.

“We had other options but chose the Xantrex system because of its outstanding performance. A buyer requesting this type of upgrade would want the best, so the Xantrex team and their system was the obvious choice,” stated Recchio.

The Xantrex FREEDOM e-GEN-Li3 is a fully integrated system that offers reliable AC and DC power to run an air conditioner and other high-power loads in all climate conditions and precise battery management for accurately charging lithium ion batteries from multiple sources. The most compelling benefit the system offers to RVers is the freedom and confidence to camp wherever they want.

The Galleria with the Xantrex system will be on display at the Coachmen/Forest River Booth No. 1001 at the upcoming National RV Trade Show. Xantrex will exhibit at Booth No. 415, offering technical details and a close look at the FREEDOM e-GEN system.
